Quality figures, slow delivery

I ordered an American Civil War figure and a cavalry model. The figures themselves are excellent, really well-made with great detail. However, the delivery took almost two weeks, which felt a bit long. They were packaged very securely, so no damage, but a faster shipping option would be nice. Customer service responded quickly when I asked about the delay, which was a plus.

Amazing figures, love them!

Just received my new American Revolution figures and they are absolutely stunning! The hand-painted detail is incredible. I'm so happy with them! I will definitely be buying more from W.Britain and telling all my collector friends about these. Fantastic additions to my collection!

Good value for a collector

I bought a Napoleonic Wars miniature during their holiday sale. I was looking for a specific figure and found it for about 10% off the usual price. Shipping wasn't free, but the overall cost was still better than I'd seen elsewhere. It felt like a solid deal for a high-quality collectible.

Got my Zulu War figures

So I ordered some Zulu War figures and they showed up today. They look pretty cool, way better than I thought they'd be. The painting is really good. It took a while to get here, like a week and a half, but hey, they made it and they're in good shape. Happy with the purchase.

are these things really worth it compared to King & Country? The detail looks amazing but the price point is a bit steep.

Honestly, for historical accuracy and the hand-painted finish, W. Britain is top tier. K&C is good but often a bit more 'stylized' if that makes sense.

I've got both. W. Britain feels more like a true miniature and less like a toy. K&C is solid too, but I prefer the realism of Britain.

Is there any kind of military discount? Seems like a good fit for the theme.

B Beth 1 month ago
I don't think so, I've never seen it advertised. Only discount I know of is the Collectors Club.

Nah, I've looked before. No specific military discount, just the club stuff. Would be cool if they did though!

do they ever do sales that aren't just for retired stuff? been waiting for a general sale on WWII figures.

S Sarah 1 month ago
Not super often for the main lines. You might catch a holiday sale around Christmas or maybe Veterans Day, but the big discounts are usually on the older stuff getting cleared out.

Their sales are pretty rare on current items, usually it's just the club discount or retired lines. Keep an eye out for Black Friday maybe?

hey quick question for anyone who's bought from them recently, how long did shipping take to, like, California? trying to get a gift in time.

C Cleo 2 months ago
Mine took about a week and a half to LA last month. They're pretty good with packaging, everything came safe.

Yeah, totally depends. I got an order to San Diego in maybe 5-6 days. Not bad.

Anyone know if the Collectors Club discount applies to the new American Revolution stuff? really want those Continental Army figures but they're pricey.

A Anna N. 2 months ago
I tried it last year with a new release and it didn't work. I think it usually excludes new items.

afaik, most coupons, even club ones, don't hit the brand new stuff. Annoying, right?

wondering about returns, what's their policy if something arrives damaged? never ordered something this delicate online before.

S Shane Kaur 2 months ago
They're pretty good about it. Had a cavalry model arrive with a snapped sword once, sent them pics and they replaced it no hassle.

Returns were super easy for me when I got a duplicate figure by mistake. Just email them and they'll sort it out, no big deal.
